Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie was the first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media-star. She is popular for being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. She is also known for being the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her the rest of her family, were born in Reykjavik Iceland. In her early years, she was always a fan of sports and exercise. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. After a year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance brought her the honor of being named. Annie is the only female to ever win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. The silver medal was awarded in 2014; and in 2021, she was awarded an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube channel named "Annie" and has more than a thousand viewers. The channel is where she uploads videos about eating habits, parenting and travel.
