Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002. It has since aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her writing career by writing nuclear energy policies and budgets for the White House. She initially found her career fascinating intellectually after which she resigned and purchased a tiny grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make her store very successful, before letting it go and picking up the pen to start her first book. A number of other books and magazines followed. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also made its debut with great hit. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment and cooking materials as well as storage containers. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and can be taught by herself. Her easy-going approach to hosting and her unassuming culinary style is well-known. Some of her most popular recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
